Hunter Education Progress

Thursday there was no firearm handling but the students learned many valuable skills.  Including First-Aid and Survival.  Muzzleloader safety and operation and the different black powders used. Archery was also taught today and will carry over to range day on Saturday. Today's instructors were 

Don Board - Muzzleloading and different types of Black Powder and Rifle /Shotgun Powder. Teaching the class how to load and charge a Muzzleloader.

Bob Margulies- Survival and First Aid Instructions. Quizzing the class on emergency scenarios while out in the field hunting.

Greg Herrin - Archery and the use of Bows and the role Archery has played throughout history. Along with Ron Ruth, Emily Miller and Howard Gardner assisting throughout the class.
